Stay Cool During Steamy Summer Sessions

Beat the heat (and the jitters) during these steamy summer sessions by making sure you're well hydrated and nourished. Remember, heat, humidity, exercise and diet
all affect your level of hydration and stamina.
Before your summer recording session (on or off site), please consider these essentials:

A protein based breakfast at least an hour before taking to the mic. You need the fuel to think, feel and DO the job. You need the time to digest so that gorgeous microphone is not picking up some unattractive digestive noises. Be mindful if
you're hungry, the mic will pick up your grumbles!

Drink 8-12 oz of water (room temperature) 90 minutes or so before recording and
continue to hydrdate during recording.

Have a chilled (not frozen) watery acidic fruit on hand to clean away mouth noises. Strawberries, watermelon, cantelope and the ever popular Granny Smith apples (green
ones) are great. The green apple has a high acidity level that cleans away mouth noises from dryness and residue each and every time! I never record w/out thin
slices of green apple on hand.

Allow an extra 20 minutes of composure time before your session. Run cold water over your wrists (specifically where your veins are). This cools the blood instantly and circulates it around to cool your system.

Finally, if you get the script prior to taking to the booth - make some quick script preparation decisions. For instance, what is the overall attitude of the script? Sincere, sarcastic, endearing, threatening? Focus on this greater attitude first then the details of who you are and who you're talking to will fall into place more naturally.
Have a great session!

Please let me know if these were helpful.

International Pianist, Writer and Social Scientist Gilbert Gambucci Showcases Revolutionary Music Education Program with Free Concert on May 27, 2010

Sao Paulo, Brazil, April 15, 2010: Acclaimed international pianist Gilbert Gambucci has announced an exciting return to The United States for a special American/Italian piano program at his alma mater, Valley View High School in Archbald, PA on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public as a call for consciousness about art and ethics in society.

Mr. Gambucci is teaching forty underprivileged students to play piano in the poor, rural village of Cambuquira in Brazil. Experts have observed Gambucci’s students have achieved in six months what usually would take two to three years of study to accomplish.

At the concert, donations will be encouraged to benefit the talented underprivileged students Mr. Gambucci is teaching. Also donations can be made at anytime to the Stop the Destruction of the World Association Inc. 2664 Timber Drive #422Garner, NC 27529. These donations will go directly to a revolutionary music education program called “Growing with Art”

This program is based on the social science of Analytical Trilogy developed by Dr. Norberto Keppe using universal principles. Mr. Gambucci explains it this way: “In our teaching method according to what we call Universal Knowledge, we recognize that the human being doesn't actually "learn" as such, that is, memorizing thousands of details in order to know something. But rather, he recognizes what he already knows in the structure of his being. So we go to the essence of things, we awaken what one has inside himself, and then all the details fall into place. The result is the acquiescence of true knowledge very quickly”.

For more on the social science of Analytical Trilogy, please visit www.Trilogia.ws

Gilbert Gambucci is a published author and an international educator/lecturer on the social need for artistic development. Gambucci also publishes a popular blog focusing on the origin of our current economic crisis and offers a refreshing revisit with America’s Founding Fathers at www.PromiseLand.info

Mr. Gambucci’s concert is being sponsored by STOP the Destruction of the World Association .STOP was founded in Paris in 1992 by psychoanalyst and writer Dr.Cláudia Bernhardt de Souza Pacheco. Today, this vibrant organization is an international group devoted to the preservation of life and nature. To learn more about the organization or to make a tax deductible donation, please visit www.usSTOP.org
